The newest installment from the Battleground Brewers Guild on tap at Natty's.Poured into a standard pint glass (wich is obviously not the right glassware for the style) a deep burgundy infsued dark chocolate brown with a 1/2 finger off white head atop.Aromas were of dark fruit,cadied sugar,and spiced phenols,it had a "cake"-like element to it,it wasn't over phenolic and spiced wich is good in my opinion.Flavors ran along the same lines with dark fruit soaked in alcohol and spiced phenols wich again were not in your face.A solid offering from the BBG guys,although not my favorite style this is something I would drink alot of.
