Black beer with a lacy light brown head. Shows up well and stays gor awhile.
Roasty stout malts, faint smoke, canned black olives, and light cocoa powder. Approachable and unique.
Roasty char and true stouty grain with a hint of sweetness behind the kilning. A touch of that black olive brininess, hints of toasted caramel and coffee. The cocoa notes are countered punch-by-punch with burnt smokiness. A great session stout.
Good rolling mouthfeel. Spicy backing with representing carb. Body is a good medium. Awesome for lower ABV.
Doesn't hit it out of the park, but absolutely delivers for what it is. Recommended.
