Part of a 5oz sampler.
Checked with the people at NCB and they couldn't pinpoint the exact type offhand, but were quite sure (and I agree) its a lager. Clear gold in color with a classic white head that disappated quickly - the classic "beer" if there is such a thing. Nose was interesting, hinting of spice and maybe pine? Taste was very clear & crisp, light on the tongue. Its very mildly hopped with a slight maltiness and no noticable aftertaste. Could drink these like water.
This would be NCB's example of what a good macro is, and it doesn't try to be anything else. If you were with people who weren't into craft beers, get them this one while you try others on the menu.
