Part of beer advent 2016:
Small head that breaks to a fine line around the glass. Black with hints of brown around the edges
Decent aroma, little bit of roast and oaky notes. Small amount of alcohol aroma as well.
Nice balanced taste and not overly roasty. Hints of coconut and spice as it warms. Little bit of lingering heat as well.
Medium mouth feel. Probably not as thick as some people want in a BA stout but certainly not thin either
All and all very solid beer from a relatively small local brewery.
