Poured from a 12 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed cinnamon brown pour with thin fizzy white head. Falls fast... modest lacing.
S: Pumpkin and pie spices mixed with vanilla.
T.F: Sweet... pumpkin... and a mish-mash of spices. Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and vanilla. Bourbon is present but not enough. Lacks balance. Medium bodied... slightly boozy. Sticky/syrupy.
O: Kind of 'meh' for a barrel-aged pumpkin. Overspiced for my taste and overly sweet.

on draft in pint glass. head cleared quickly and color is very dark amber. Smell is as you would hope for a pumpkin, sweet, cinnamon, nutmeg but no bourbon. This is a very good pumpkin beer that i would drink again, but it must have been waved over the bourbon barrel because that taste is missing

First time I tried it the smell and taste were off. There's a sourness that was not right. Next one much better. Must've gotten a bad one. This was a pretty good barrel aged pumpkin. Recommended
