Growler -> goblet
Pours a hazy dark brown with golden amber around the edges. The huge head, off a slightly aggressive pour, settles to a thick solid layer of sudsy goodness. Spiderweb lacing creeps down the glass. Impressive appearance.
Nose - Yeast is most prevelant, with banana tones, malt lingering in the background.
Taste - There are some thick dark malts up front with a wheaty banana aftertaste. I'm not an expert on 'dark wheats' put this seems to be dead on the style.
Mouthfeel - A smooth beer but would of like to see a little more carbonation in the mouthfeel. Slightly watery for a wheat beer. (Poured into my growler about an hour ago)
A very drinkable beer for those who are not offended by the yeast. Kudos to the brewer for this one. I hope it last for a little while.
