Taster at brewpub. Cloudy, pale golden, thin white head. Light malty aroma, fruity edge. Taste gets weak from here, pale malts, bready. Not much hop character.

Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a big persistent rocky head. Good herbal earthy slightly dank hop smell. Taste is dominated by the same hop profile as in the nose. Nice but a little one dimensional without much of a malt profile. A little sharp bitterness. Somewhat light bodied and very drinkable. This is a fine little hoppy APA. Had this in a can but tastes very much like their typical stuff at the brewpub which is solid.

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is hazy straw, head is white, presents 1 finger thick, dissipates to thin top and ring along the glass sides.
Smell is catty, citrus pith, maybe some biscuit and oats.
Taste is not really a pale ale in the traditional sense, more light hazy ipa: mixed hop notes of citrus, cattiness, herbal notes, then some biscuit and toast.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness; carb level seems low, sweetness is that full bodied hazy type.
Overall a light hazy ipa labeled as a pale ale - a little disappointing as I was seeking out a more traditional malt forward pale ale.
