Sampling a cellar temp 12 oz can poured into my .5L dimple mug. Picked up in Meadville while at a reunion weekend at Allegheny. Date Stamping is illegible, but purchase was in summer of 2023.
The beer pours a light bright gold color as it enters my glass. Sits a slightly bolder color in the glass than as it poured.
A fizzy bleached white head foams up about .5 cm and has faded to nothing after a few minutes. Several lazy streams of carbonation do rise to the surface, but dont replenish the foam.
Aroma is some grainy malt with a little sweet corn hit and some grassy hop note. Sort of balanced nose and definitely on the mild side overall.
First sip reveals a light body with very smooth texture and Very fine tingly carbonation. The beer drinks pretty easy, as expected for the style.
Flavor is mild with some grainy note and a bit of general sweetness. These flavors carry through to the finish, although a bit of grassy hop note does come through on swallow. Never any hint of ABV.
This beer is what I expected, an easy drinker straightforward mild brew. Fine to consume.
