Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival just over a finger of bone white head was present. Body is a clear, light, golden straw color. Head is Fine, bit not particularly thick. Lacing begins forming at first, but dissipates.
Aroma is extremely light, with virtually no malt flavor, maybe some adjunct, but it's hard to pick up on. There is a light citrus and a doughy yeast, but not much else here.
Taste is an improvement on the aroma with a bit more depth to the flavor, and some actual, however light, maltiness. An herbal and floral hop flavor and bitterness is present right up front before the yeast takes over, and finally a malty finish creeps in.
Feel is very dry, and carbonated, which does make this come off as quite light, but the finish is still medium to long, with a bit of mouthcoating maltiness.
Overall this is a decent lager, a lot better than your standard AAL but clearly going for that profile. More hop flavor without being overwhelming, but that budweiser rice lightness is there.
