12oz can, purchased at the brewpub. No dating information found.
Ruby brown colored body. One finger of beige quickly disappears. No lacing.
Aroma of lightly roasted caramel malts.
Taste is sweet caramel, lightly roasted malts. Also some prune and cherry. All fade away slowly in the aftertaste.
More than medium mouthfeel, with some stickiness. Low bitterness. Higher ABV% well hidden under the sweetness. Low carbonation.
Grateful to the establishment for offering single beers in the cooler for sale. Mellow sweet caramel flavor.

Appearance: Light orangeade, with a ring of lace.
Smell: Something is way, way off on this one. There's a citric acidity to it that I didn't enjoy.
Taste: Almost no malty caramel feel, hell even diacetyl would have been welcome. It was sour, too watery, had an off yeasty flavor, and had the aftertaste of a croute fleurie cheeze, if you can believe that. Fromage!
