12oz can purchased at Carver Brewing Company, in downtown Durango.
Hazy, deep gold colored body. One finger of white head, which reduces down to an island and a ring. Leaves behind a few spots and a partial ring of lacing.
Aroma is semisweet grapefruit juice and orange juice.
Taste follows the nose, with semisweet grapefruit and orange, in juice form. Gets more bitter citrus pith at the end.
Medium mouth feel. Somewhat soft in feel, but also drying at the end. Good carbonation.
Does not check all the boxes for a New England IPA, but does have a hazy appearance and a softer mouth feel. Somewhat juicy but lacks sweet juiciness. A little too much pith bitterness for the intended style.
