Its 90 degrees Fahrenheit in the tasting room on a cloudless August afternoon. A glass of cold refreshing anything would serve me quite well Im sure. And rye beer is one of my summertime favorites. Lost Falls offering was placid and lacked lace and head. Its low CO2 can be attributed to the necessity of serving from the bright tanks a few days before it had fully recarbonated and clarified. The taste similarly reflected this lack of polish but was accommodating. The rye kicks in towards the end for a concise, dry finish.
