Sampled at the brew pub on 5/8/2010. It's a wheat based amber, or maybe it's an amber wheat, who knows. American Dark Wheat seemed the most fitting style.
Pours a brownish hazy color with hints of red. It produces surpisingly little head that doesn't last or lace.
Aroma is wheaty, a hint lemony/sour, and malty. The catch is that it is very mellow/subdued.
Flavor is watery mostly but wheat, caramel, barley, and alcohol all make themselves known. But mostly watery. Low bitterness.
Body is surprisingly thin and the booze that is not hidden due to lack of flavor keeps this from being overly drinkable.
