Sampled at the brew pub on 5/8/2010.
Pours brown/red, pretty clear, with an off white head that leaves a small amount of lace.
Aroma is very much of caramel and hints of roast.
Flavor is of caramel, a little bit of fruit, and a touch of roast. Pretty well done as far as flavor is concerned.
Body is on the lighter side of medium and the beer is drinkable and enjoyable. Best in show, but that isn't saying much.
