Copenhagen 4/11 2019. 75 cl bottle from Køge Vinhandel, Brogade, Køge. Dark label with a Monk doing hand signs in front of a golden B.

Pours clear, dark maroon with a red hue. Small off-white head. Disappears more or less after 10 seconds leaving a thin rim of foam along the side of the glass. Looks like de-carbonated cola. No lacing.

Aroma is medium-intense, sugary with a burn touch. Brown sugar, butterscotch, burnt caramel. Hints of flat coke.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, almost flat texture.

Flavor is quite sweet followed by a more subdued bitterness with a sourish tang. Aftertaste is sweet . Lingers for a while. Finish is a little bit burned.

A bit too sweet and flat to be entirely enjoyable for me.
