Copenhagen 20/5 2017. 33 cl bottle bought at Refsvindinge Brewery. The label most of all looks like an old fashioned tattoo, that you could get in a smoky tattoo parlor down by the harbor.

Pours opaque dark brown with light beige head. Settles as very thin layer of foam. No lacing.

Aroma is actually like sniffing a wet ashtray. Smoky in a unpleasant stale way.

Low carbonation and watery palate.

Flavor is fairly sweet. Not much bitterness. Aftertaste is more spicy and smoky.

A strange mix of Rauch bier and typical low ABV overly sweet Danish White Beer. Quite intense aroma - but a quite thin experience when it comes to the flavor.

Free bottle at Ol Baren in Copenhagen. Offered up as a standard but very tasty supermarket beer. From notes.

A - Black with red around the sides. Nice mocha head gone very fast. No retention. Ring around the top for head after a while. No visible carbonation. Bright.

S - Roasty and smokey. Subtle but cool.

T - Some cola and roasty notes with some smoke. Quite mild.

M - Light body and mild carbonation. Sweet finish. Probably typical for the ABV but unintersting for the style and too thin and watery but I get why.

D - I could have this one bottle considering it was free but no more. Good for the ABV but weak and watery otherwise. Points for being low alcohol and this much flavour.

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a dark brown-red color with a tan head. The aroma is very smokey. I get notes of brisket and ashy charcoal. The flavor is very smokey as well. Outside of smoke this beer is not very complex but it is very good. The mouthfeel is the only place where you can tell this beer is so low in alcohol. The mouthfeel is a little bit thin and the beer has medium carbonation. An excellent lower alcohol beer.

Drank from a bottle into a pint glass in Copenhagen.

The beer pours a medium brown, light tan head, not much going on here...The smell is light smoke but very nice, same thing with the aroma. A lot of the locals were hating on this beer but I thought it was great.

Seek this out in Denmark. This is a super easy to drink and low abv beer with lots of taste and feel and spunk, really solid.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass in one go.

Appearance: Dark body with a light brown small head of about ½”.

Smell: Tones of Whisky and tar.

Taste: Lots of smoke, tar and seaweed, but not as heavy as some stouts. Also a little lemon?

Mouthful: Low carbonation and a little watery feel due to the low ABV, then a fine smoke taste spreads and last a long time.

Drink ability: High if you like this sort of brew. You can easily drink 2-3 to a good long meal
without getting fed-up or dizzy.

Other: Goes well with food like Cheddar, smoked ham or salmon.
This beer helped me A LOT when I stopped smoking 2 years ago :O).
