Copenhagen 19/6 2017. 33 cl bottle from Refsvindinge Brewery. Black widow spider in it’s web on the label.
Pours hazy golden yellow with small white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Quite weird aroma. Not like any other Witbier I have encountered. Some fruity lemonade but with some strange chemical odor chiming in. Glue and butter gone bad.
Soft carbonation and thin palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by strange slightly spicy aftertaste. Aftertaste is lightly sugary. Fairly short.
The Widow certainly seems to have pretty strange desires.
