Copenhagen 5/9 2015. 33 cl bottle from Skjold Burne, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Weird timing for the sale of Christmas Beer - but quite cheap. Primitive drawing of Christmas Elfs making out on the label.
Pours copper brown with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Leaves only a thin layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma of caramel and a little metallic alcohol. Toffee and a hint of brown sugar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet with notes of caramel. Lightly bitter aftertaste.
Not much going on. Apart from the cute label.
