Copenhagen 4/7 2017. 33 cl bottle purchased at the Brewery. Old beer barrel on the label.
Pours clear golden yellow with small bubbly white head. Disappears fairly fast. No lacing.
Aroma has sweet malts, a little smoke and slightly metallic.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is spicy butter.
I like the smoke but I am not crazy about the butter. But overall it’s interesting compared to many other Refsvindinge beers.

I had this in Denmark, another great sessional smoke beer, what is it with Denmark and these beers.
Pours a light amber color, not very attractive...Aroma is nice and complex, nice smoke but subltle hints of honey and caramel...The taste is lightly smoke, really nice, makes it easy to drink.
A good sessional, smoke, try if you can.
