This Stout is added with a bit of sweet English licorice, which makes it really good as a supplement to the delicious Easter table.

Copenhagen 25/9 2017. 33 cl bottle purchased at Refsvindinge Brewery. Yellow version of the label design for their Mothers Stout series to signify that this is an Easter Seasonal. They have added a couple of Easter Eggs just to be on the safe side.
Pours opaque dark brown with small off-white head. Bubbly. Disappears fairly fast. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and roasted odor. Roasted dark malts, dark bitter chocolate, caramel and a little whiff of smoke.
Soft carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost fat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense and quite thin. Medium sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste bitter-sweet and lingers only shortly.
Decent stout - even though it does not make me think of Easter in anyway.
