Copenhagen 20/11 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Drawing of a Christmas Holly on the fairly boring label.
Pours clear Maroon with a medium-sized off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, sweet and a little spicy. Dark roasted malts, caramel, toffee, light smoke and peat.
Medium carbonation. Quite thin, oily . Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a moderate sourish bitterness. Lingers for a bit.
Quite sweet Christmas Brew which could use a little boozy injection. But nice enough on a dark Winter Day.
