Copenhagen 23/4 2017. 33 cl bottle bought at Refsvindinge Brewery. Some kind of crossbreed between a Bat and a Mermaid on the label. I suppose it is meant to look slightly Asian.
Pours clear golden yellow with almost no head. Very bubbly though. The very small head disappears almost immediately.
Very strange aroma. Quite sweet in the way that a dumpster can smell sweetly and quite spicy. A lot of pepper, ginger and sweet decayed fruit.
Soft carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is medium to heavy sweet followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is burning and spicy - on the verge of being unpleasant.
The chili is quite overdone and combined with the strong sweetness it makes this beer a strange and fairly unpleasant experience.
