Refsvindinge Sorte Får is brewed from barley malt, glucose syrup, brown sugar and hops, fermented with top yeast.
Sorte Får has a dark brown color with white foam. Lovely aromas and taste of dark malts. It tastes of licorice and cold coffee. A strong and rich beer with a very nice dry bitter and salty aftertaste.

Copenhagen 17/6 2017. 33 cl bottle from Refsvindinge Brewery. Crazy looking Black Sheep on the label which is very yellow.
Pours clear very dark brown with off-white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet and sour at the same time. Light notes of caramel, brown sugar, metal and armpit.
Light carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is rather sweet. A little sourness for balance. Aftertaste is sweet brown sugar.
Too sweet for my taste buds like many Danish Easter Beer. But if you like lollipops and other kinds of candy this might be your thing.
