Copenhagen 13/4 2017. 33 cl bottle bought at The Refsvindinge Brewery. Very yellow label with Easter Daffodils in full bloom.
Pours clear dark maroon brown with small white head. Disappears completely leaving what looks like a flat Coca Cola in the glass.
Aroma is not very intense. Sweetish. Caramel, brown sugar, nuts and light fruity tartness.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by only light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with bitter overtones.
Refsvindinges take on a dark Easter Beer is a little too sweet and not exceedingly interesting.
