Pours out a black cherry juice color with a nice light tan foamy head. Scattered lace strings and chunks were left on the snifter. Great aroma of fruits, light malt toastiness and caramel. A bit of cherry as well. Flavor starts with some sweet fruits and caramel malt. More toasty malts and a touch of molasses. Light alcohol notes and some musty earthiness to it. Ends on a lightly bitter cherry note with a touch of alcohol. Pretty good thickness to it with a bit of stickiness. Awesomely drinkable stuff. The growler went like it was a bomber. Another tasty brew from this upcoming brewpub.
