A mighty odd brew for my first review but here it goes. I picked up a case of this from my local Costco after being amused by the name the first time I saw it on the shelf. When they dropped the case price a dollar to 18.99 I decided to give it a try.
It poured a decent, if slightly pale clear golden color into my pilsner glass with 1 finger of head that faded quickly with little residual lace. The aroma or lack there of was my first hint at disappointment, with very little if any aromatic hop or malt character with light grain as the only percepable nose note. Taste was only average with neither malt nor hoppiness coming to the forefront at the start with a grainy middle and decent hop bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel was thin and carbonated followed by sour then bitter pucker feel. Drinkability...this being my first review, I'm note quite sure I have grasped the concept of this yet. I would definitely rather drink it than pour it down the drain and I certainly plan on finishing the case I bought, but it definetely leaves me wishing for more with each bottle. Overall not a terrible beer by a long shot and much better than most of the usual golf course fare of Miller Brewing Company and AB products, but by no means the "BEST ROUND OF YOUR LIFE" as the bottle proclaims.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
