Had to rate this because I will always remember this beer. My buddy in highschool always use to get the cheapest stuff he could from the liquor department at Woodman's and 1 time it was the Duffer. Burned in my memory Royal Duffer golf beer the best round of your life. I don't remember the taste of anything so I gave it 3 for everything.

This beer tastes like glue. I assume that for adjuncts, they use horse hooves. Bad beer, bad, bad, bad beverage. Truly vile stuff.
When the local liquor store that accepted my fake (this was a long time ago) replaced "Wisconsin Club" with "Royal Duffer" as the 8.99/case special deal, I was heartbroken. Wisconsin Club, like PBR, tastes like a bad beer, but a beer none-the-less -- Royal Duffer, well, I already described the taste. This beer caused my friends and I to upgrade to Leinie's O, and we never looked back. I don't care if you're a poor college student, AVOID!
On a positive note, the cheap price keeps you coming back for more. And come on, look at the can with the little golf ball. Who can hate that design? I can. I've tasted their beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
