As most people on this site I enjoy trying new beers. I found this one while I was visiting morro bay. CA. I figured I would give this a try. To my suprise this APA went down nice and smooth. It's not the best one ever but probably ranked in the middle of the pack. Recommended to try.

very, very light colored american pale ale. head is small and is gone rather quickly. smell is of grass and hints of honey. taste is somewhat sweet. the honey taste is there. the hops are there but not overbearing. mouthfeel is very clean. i could see this being a nice session beer, not too heavy and very clean. decent flavor. pretty ok beer

Pours a clear golden with a decent albeit short-lived white head. Light scents of hops on the nose. Flavors are somewhat sweet with fruit in the background. Very pleasent, not overbearing. Definately a session and/or lawnmower brew. Not very full bodied, but light and refreshing. Bottle courtesy of Zorro.

Appearance: Medium gold hazed body, 1/2" head that fades slow while bubbles randomly break.
Smell: Fesh cut grass and grain, hops are clean and well balanced.
Taste: A very interesting sour/bitter flavor starts out, bready malt next, then a subtle citrus flavor ends it. Reminds me somewhat of Schell's Pale Ale, both very smooth and sessionable.
Mouthfeel: Rich and full, well carbonated, slightly metallic.
Drinkability: Yep, an easily sessionable pale ale, nothing off, but maybe a little underpowered. Thanks to Zorro for the bottle.

Pours a clear golden colored ale with a good white head. Looks a lot like a Pilsner; this is one of the palest APAs I have ever seen.
Very herbal hoppy scent. The first thing you will smell is strong spicy herbs and then after a bit the grapefruit scent asserts itself. Malt is light with a bit honey to it. Faint flower aromas to this, a surprisingly aromatic ale.
Taste is slight sweetness and bread base flavor with a sharp and crisp herbal bite. Tasty herbal hops here and a lot of them. There is a bit of honey flavor to the malt but this isn't a sweet beer. Light woody aftertaste that does a really good job of clearing your taste buds for the next taste.
Mouthfeel is good and full.
An excellent session beer here. I have to admit I expected a bottle of swill based upon my past experiences with this brewery. What I got is an excellent APA that emphasizes the herbal hops. I now regret not buying a whole six pack of this. A beer I can recommend from a brewer I usually do not recommend.
