A strong and aggressive IPA features lots of citrus, pine and apricot notes from Columbus, Centennial, and Amarillo hops with a residual maltiness.

Had this late one nite when in Napa. Was pleasantly surprised. Was poured into a shaker from tap, had a good 1 finger cream head on it. Smelled of pine, grapefruit and caramel. Was a hazy golden in the glass. Very nice beer, they say 100 IBU, but it was well rounded, not too bitter and a good hop presence. Would definitely go back here for this beer when I am in Napa.

Pours a hazy orange gold color with a quirky dissipating off-white head. Lacing coats the glass. The bouquet is phenomenal. Dried sweet fruit, grapefruit, and mown grass. The flavor is a little less bold than the bouquet, but much the same as what is picked up in the olfactory. In fact, the flavor was a little disappointing after having first gotten a whiff of the wonderful bouquet. Mouthfeel is decent, but a little flattened. All in all, a very good DIPA, but I've had so many ridiculously good DIPAs recently that it doesn't rank well.

Had at Downtown Joe's. First off, great name. How can you resist the temptation to try this beer with a name from Animal House?
A - Pours orange with 1 fingered head. Light carbonation and dissipates moderately.
S - Pine, flowers, and caramel.
T - Pretty much the same. Smell and taste are transparent.
M - Good, full mouthfeel. Slightly bitter from the use of centennials.
D - Good overall, but much better examples out there. Would love to see more pungency and flavor from the hops.
