Sampled 4/29/2011 at the brewpub.
Menu simply reads "A classic British Brown".
Pours very light brown, way too light for a brown ale, clear, off-white head, some lacing but no retention.
Aroma is nutty, malty, and touch roasted.
Flavor contains some toffee, nuts, bready malt, a hint of roast, and low bitterness. No discernable hop flavor.
Body is lightish and the beer is drinkable.
