On tap at Altitude. Limited release brewed with Drei Fontenien cultured yeast, fermented with green apples and sauvignon blanc grapes.
A: amber in color, slightly cloudy, white head about 1/4 inch thick. Not much retention.
S:barnyard and funk, really really funky, green apples, slightly medicinal, and sour. Very nice!
T: sour! This hits it right on, quite funky from the get go, sour green apples and a hint at white wine as the notes would suggest. Excellent offering.
M:lightly carbonated, no alcohol, and extremely dry! Big time pucker. Once again excellent.
D: for suge a high abv, this is really easy to drink. Plenty of funk, nice sour. I wouldn't call it a lambic though. Maybe Flanders Red as it definitely hits those notes a little more. Very nice beer. Will get a growler.
