Yellow gold body (betther than expected), very good clarity, plenty of carbonation, topped by a level finger of white suds, which decays quickly.
Grassy nose, slightly abrasive.
Taste has a sweetish start, light, pleasant, if without depth. Mild hop bite at the swallow. Extremely clean finish but with a slight metallic twang.
Light mouthfeel with a bit of body.
Drinkability is alright for the bar, but I'd look for something else if at home.
Better than the Corona clone I was expecting, a small cut above macro lagers.

Pours a light to medium golden colour with a smallish off-white head that dissolves to nothing and leaves no mark on the glass.
The aroma is, like most other Jamaican brews I've sampled, faint but sweet with hints of malt. I may have even picked up some grass or grain here as well.
Flavour is more of the same, but steps it up a bit (albeit not much). There's definitely a slight, way in the back, barely noticeable hint of hops in each sip and the obligatory sweetness and touch of malt. That's about it but it's not all that bad. Mouthfeel is expectedly light, crisp and smooth overall.
This one is a step above run of the mill and leaves nothing to complain about overall. It's got a bit more going on than a Red Stripe Light (which I enjoyed) and kind of sits a bit below the standard Red Stripe). Basic indeed, but another surprising recommendation here...

"Brewed for Margaritaville" Purchased at the Margaritaville in Ocho Rios. Only available at the four Jimmy Buffett Jamaican Margaritavilles.
Pale and clear golden corn in color. Lots of miniscule carbonation bubbles rising to the surface. Nose is "malty" and by that I mean adjuncts.
Flavor is macro lager all the way. Not much of anything going on. Ingredients list water, malts and hops. Definitely can taste that Jamaican water. Hardly any hops and the malts have the metallic tang of a macro lager. Light and crisp in the mouthfeel. Quenching. Very easy drinking beach beer. Better than Corona but not as good as Red Stripe.
