Picked up a bottle in France in Oct 2014. Expires Dec 2015. Pours an amber color with a dense head that dissipated rapidly. Pleasant beer. Nothing special.

Dense head, hazy copper color with some grey aspects. The smell is a mix of fruits and smoke, maybe the smoke of the guns of the soldiers of WWI this beer pretends to honor. The taste is nicely malty, with some caramel, some red fruits, and maybe a fruity hoppiness too. Almost a sweet "rosé" wine aspect. The mouthfeel is enjoyable, very round, and the low carbonation makes the beer quite drinkable.
