Bottled beer served in a glass.
Appearance:
Thick, 3 finger off-white head. Clear golden colour. Moderate effervescence. Stacks of lacing.
Smell:
Leaf, bark, hop resin, citrus zest and an overall herbal character.
Taste:
Pretty mild overall. Mineral water qualities, mild lemon, lime, a hint of peach and a hop hit when swallowed. Mostly leafy and herbal.
Mouthfeel:
Moderate fizz, medium body, clean, crisp and refreshing. Highly drinkable.
Overall:
A solid mid-strength beer, with a decent hop character, but pretty mild overall. Easy drinking and sessionable however, and the bottle looks cool.

Pours copper with a large head.
Nose shows caramel, some earthy and piny hops.
Flavors include sweet bready malt and earthy hops followed by an aggressive bitterness.
Too much carbonation.

Great beer. Iti may be smaller than the nui as expected, but it still delivers pleasantly.

Tarnished bronze with piles of crusty taupe foam. 4
Light, crackery nose with lots of honeydew and lemon zest. 4
Oyster crackers then guava, grapefruit juice, spruce, and gooseberries. 4
Slight mango end and bubbly ending that clears everything.
Fizzy, light, crisp. 3.75
Amarillo, Cascade, Chinook, Nelson Sauvin.
The flavors get there: all the sharp, tart ends of these fruits/hops - no juicy Amarillo orange or oily Cascade perfume - but it is genuinely hoppy. What suffers is the body, which is so thin and lively that you end up with a white wine spritzer vibe. Still, perfect for certain situations and among the better sub-3.5% efforts. 4
