From Labirratorium. In Teku glass. Playing Shantae Pirate's Curse. I dont find much here apart from some smokyness and slightly sour notes, specially in nose. No trace of the coffee nor the vanilla its supposed to have

500ml bottle poured into a snifter.
It pours inky pitch black in color with massive tan head that withstands with excellent retention. The head just slowly dissipates to an everlasting foamy layer on the surface and leaves behind plenty of sticky lacing patch on the glass-side.
Lots of roasted malt in the aroma, it is also with scents of rich espresso, dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, sweet vanilla, a bit smokiness, licorice, dark bread, burnt biscuit, and caramel. Hop is not completely sunken but standing firm providing notes of citrus, grapefruit, big spice, pepper, pine, and some earthiness.
Good stuff of roasted malt, roasted espresso coffee bean, dark chocolate, and cocoa nibs in the palate sensation, it is as well with notes of sweet vanilla, a bit smokiness, licorice, dark bread, burnt biscuit, and caramel yet with bold hoppy goodness of citrus, grapefruit, big spice, pepper, pine, and some earthiness. Finish is quite lingering with roasted malt and hop bitterness.
Light to medium body with some good crisp and moderate lively carbonation through the palate, smooth through mouthfeel, finish is pleasantly dry.
Good Stout indeed with lots of espresso coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, as well as bold hop character. It somehow reminds me of partially Black IPA quality, so enjoyable brew.
