On-tap served in a pint glass at Wishbeer, Bangkok.
Translucent golden in color with thick fluffy white head that well retains itself with very good retention before slowly subsiding to an eternal foamy crown and leaving numerous sticky and refined lacing wave all around the glass-side.
Lots of hop in the aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit, peach, lime, and herbal. Malt is also there upright with its intense sweet like a candy caramel and biscuit.
The taste is led by big sweetness from malt that also yields notes of biscuit and candy. Hop closely follows with its citrus, grapefruit, peach, lime, herbal, and subtle to medium bitterness but it is a bit underneath the malty goodness. The aftertaste is mingled with fruity hop character and residual malt sweetness.
The body is rather full with low carbonation but it is enough to carry all the things well under the smooth mouthfeel and dry finish.
Good big and bold Pils with vast hop array and rich malt bill, it is so sweet but is a bit balance out by ample hop profile. Anyway, it is still sweet but not a problem for me.
