This was billed as an ale, but is a lager. Bartender claimed it was hoppy, but far from it.
Poured a smooth copper color, very little head. Smelled of sweet bisuit, some spice and malt.
Taste was a thin Oktoberfest; some light caramel, light spice, no hops whatsoever, and a sticky sweetness to it.
Almost could not finish it. Too sweet, no balance. Disappointing for an Anniversary brew.
