This is the only pear beer I have ever encountered, but it was magical. Really does look basically like a pureed pear, the golden/wheat color of a basic triple but opaque and a tiny bit green/greenishyellow tint to it. Overwhelming (in a good way) aroma of pear. A fairly strong beer (I forget the ABV), but delicious. It is definitely worth your try if you can find it. It is definitely seasonal (might actually be available in the winter, not the fall, I forget), I've only ever seen it at the Wynkoop Brew Pub in Denver.
