Coombe Hill monument is visible from our brewery and this sunshine golden ale is based on a limited edition ale we produced in our 30th year to help raise funds for its renovation. Refreshing and soft on the palate and teeming with English summer flavours of honeyed malts and aromatic hops. A craft ale with a lighter style which is beautifully smooth and pleasurable to drink.

500ml bottle.
L: Clear, golden colour with several streams of bubbles. Three fingers of creamy, white head and rings of lacing.
S: Sweet, pale malt.
T: Leafy English hops with honeyed malt and moderate/light bitterness.
F: Medium body, smooth, dry finish.
O: A really clean-tasting, English golden ale with a velvet mouthfeel. Bitterness is pitched just right. Being a golden ale rather than a more traditional bitter, it doesn't suffer from being served fridge cold. An excellent summertime pint. At 3.8% ABV, it confirms my opinion that Brits make the best session beer.
