8oz glass at Beer Revolution YEG Oliver Square.
This beer appears a clear, pale golden yellow colour, with a thin cap of wispy and faintly bubbly bone-white head, which leaves a bit of random streaky lace around the glass as things slowly sink away.
It smells of bready and grainy cereal malt, some muddled pome fruitiness, a faint hard water flintiness, and some very tame earthy, musty, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, white grape juice, red apple skin, some damp minerality, and more ephemeral earthy, leafy, and herbal hoppiness.
The carbonation is adequate in its structurally supportive frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and generally smooth, with nothing really causing any sort of ruckus at this point in the game. It finishes trending dry, the malt bottoming out, while the frooty acridity keeps on trucking on.
Overall - this comes across as a typical version of the wan style, delivering a straightforward light malty beverage experience. Not bad, however a bit more hop offset would have bolstered this one, IMNSHO.
