I don't expect much from blondes. But if the style can achieve one desirable characteristic, it's having a clean taste. And that's what Da Bomb delivers. Beginning with a dry aroma of distant grains, this chicken-yellow ale with reluctant carbonation goes forth to showcase a virtuous neglect of drama. A simple malt and grain flavor with integrated bittering carries the timid-by-design style, making for an admirable companion to that plate of fish'n'chips. A good low-key lunch beer, or what they used to call a table beer.
