Stone Cold boasts a peculiar flavor with malt emphasis that touches upon licorice and cola nut. It would appear to be derived from brown ale ancestry though it is nearly black in color. The finish is bitter and perplexed.
Ultimately Stone Cold is a bit too sweet for my tastes. It is still easy to appreciate but cant compare to Buoy 8 for bold, expressive character.
