This hop-whopper is the bigger brother to our Bubblejack IPA, as the multiple additions of Centennial and Cascade hops do the talking in this Double IPA. For this version we’ve nearly doubled the hops and added over two and a half pounds of local honey per barrel.

From a 12oz bottle. Couldn't see the date on the bottle.
There was a slight hiss and smoke upon opening the bottle. This beer is a beautiful looking beer. It is nice ans clear looking. It has a nice mix between a golden color and amber. There's a 1 finger slightly off white head that has smaller and fluffy looking bubbles. The head retention is great and there's nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma has a nice hop aroma. There's a pleasing earthy aroma in here that is mixed with a pine aroma. There's a slight sweetness to the aroma that doesn't take away at all from the earthy/pine hops.
Taste - The front has a nice hit of pine and an earthy flavor from the hops. The hops fade a bit and a honey sweetness finishes off the flavor profile.
This beer does not drink like 9%. It is almost refreshing feeling. It does have a good body, and there's a slight stickiness to the beer.
How have I never had this beer before today? This is so damn tasty. I am enjoying this a lot.
