The Amber Weizen was one of the seasonal specials, it was served in a 20 oz modified pilsner-hefe hybrid glass.
The beer is amber with a beige head, slight chill haze and decent lacing.
The aroma is faint. It has a bit of wheat and a touch of clove. Needs to be ramped-up a bit.
The taste is mild. I get a hint of spice (clove) a whisper of banana and a bit of caramel. Nothing bad or off, but it is a very mild mannered beer.
The mouth is crisp and smooth but I can't really see this as anything but the meekest of crossover beers.
