The Parrot Head Pilsner was the summer seasonal offering. It was served in the usual Pilsner-Hefe highbred glass that they use here.

The beer is gold with good clarity. Nice white head.

Mild nose of grains, grass and a bit of flowery hops.

The taste is slightly sweet with cereal and crackers. Hops add balance and a bit of pepper bite.

The mouth is crisp with good carbonate. This is an easy drinker that leans a bit more towards the American side of the equation (vs. the Czech or German side).
