L: Pitch black with a creamy light brown head. Moderate retention. A thick film remains. Streaky lacing and spots are left behind.
S: Sweet, rich, and decadent. Mild to moderate bourbon compliments coffee and dark malt perfectly. Bourbon, brown sugar, butterscotch, and toffee sweetness meets espresso roast, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, prune, and raisin, as well as toasted coconut and vanilla.
T: Dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and dark roast coffee upfront. Followed immediately by butterscotch, caramel, bourbon, toasted coconut, and huge vanilla sweetness. It's a huge rich bourbon-y sweet dessert. There's just enough burnt toast and coffee to offer some bitterness to keep the sweetness in check. Finishes deceptively smooth with some oak tannins and some warmth going down.
F: Medium-full, creamy, moderately carbonated. Maybe a little thin for the style, but extremely easy-drinking.
O: Wow! An incredibly underrated BBA stout. So freaking good!

L: Had it on tap and poured into a 12oz stout glass. Next to no head (pretty strange TBH). Dark with little highlight.
S: A little boozy on the nose. Smelt coffee, rolled oats, little bit of caramel.
T: Little aggressive alcohol taste at first. Tasted everything mentioned in the smell. Somewhat similar to Founders Breakfast Stout with more salty caramel, saltiness from peanut butter and maybe soy sauce-ey umami.
F: Nice medium to full mouth feel. Feel matches up with 8% alcohol.
