12 oz bottle from Florida. No date?
Pours with a cloudy, pale golden body topped by a dense, white head that has very good retention. Plenty of sticky lacing is left on the glass. Some sediment remained in the bottom of the bottle.
Aroma: hops; moderate strength
The flavor has moderate strength and bitterness but with a finish and aftertaste that is mild for style. Good balance between the hops and malts. Notes of tropical fruits with faint hints of herbs and grass.
Feel: Medium+ body with medium carbonation.

A: Poured from the half-growler into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is hazy apricot with a small off-white head.
S: Not terribly strong - tropical fruit and apricot come to mind.
T: Pretty much follows the nose, with a lot of apricot over a fruity sweetness. Slightly odd lingering sweetness reminds me of overripe peaches. Improves over time as I get used to it though.
M: Somewhat juicy in feel. Medium in weight, carbonation is nearly non-existent.
O: Good. Maybe even very good. But not excellent or superb.

On tap at Blu Wolf Bistro in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy nice orange color, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.
This has a wonderful aroma- this is Saranac, right? The Galaxy leaps out of the glass- so citrusy, with fresh mango, grassiness, grapefruit, and tangerine.
It seems that Saranac brewing at/with Flying Bison has done them a tremendous good- this is quite good. It's definitely a bit sweet, as the lack of bitterness starts to show as the beer warms. However, the hop flavor is just tremendous, and a really nice use of galaxy.
This is medium bodied, pretty thick for the style, with a good level of carbonation.
This is definitely quite impressive, even without the qualifier of "it's Saranac."

On draft at WOB in Fayetteville, NC. Details from Untapped say it a "New England IPA with Galaxy hops". I have this habit of smelling the beer before drinking it and this one reminded me of the best IIPA's I've had from the west coast, rivaling Stone, Ballast Point, insert brewer here. Citrus hop-flavored necter, with the piney-resin mouthfeel that quenches your thirst! A solid home-run for the Matt/Saranac brewing co.
