12 oz. bottle poured into goblet, for good sturdy half inch+ head.

L - Rich golden body , nice clarity.

S - Fresh bready pilsner-ish malt aromas burst into the air at the pouring, and gather above the glass, making me want a taste!

T - Sparkly, prickly, a little more spiky than expected, less sweetness comes through than I expected, getting more of a tartness...very crisp...some bitter hop craftiness? Mineral, fizzy...good, different than anything else that comes to mind. Love the medium but light enough sparkly body an fresh fizzy feel. Finish is a little thicker than expected, but overall a pretty good beer. Easy to find better in this category for me, so I won't be looking for it again. Nice try though.

Pours a somewhat thin, white head with uneven bubbles. The color is a crystal clear gold. A constant stream of bubbles throughout.

Again, like the other beers I got from this mixed pack, this is a bit skunky. I'm gonna try to work around that, since that is more a store thing than a brewery thing.

Nose has crackers, fresh and unpeeled oranges, bread crumbs, and some floral notes.

The taste is slightly overbaked white bread crust, a light touch of honey, something just a touch floral. There is a hint of sweetness, but mostly this beer drinks dry and it definently finishes dry and crisp. There is a bitterness in the finish that does tend to distract from some of the other flavors in the beer. A faint hint of minerality is also in the finish.

The mouthfeel is just south of medium bodied. The carbonation is fairly heavy, but too style. There is a touch of alcohol warmth, but it does not distract form the taste.

Overall, this is a pretty tasty and quafable lager. I would love to find a bottle of this that hasn't been lightstruck in order to get all of what this beer has on offer. This beer would go great with butter and jam on toasted white bread.
