Clouded Dream x 3 IPA

Poured from a 19.2 oz. can. Has a hazy golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of light citrus, some dankness. Taste is dank, oranges, alcohol, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall this is a pretty good beer.

Poured from 19.3 oz can into tulip pint glass, hazy orange tone, thin head, dissipated quickly. Nose is fruit forward mainly orange. Pretty boozy on the tongue at first sip. Goes down smooth and finishes crisp. Decent triple IPA from The Matt folks, just down the road from me.

 

This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like weed, orange, tangerine, bubble gum, and booze.

This isn’t as boozy as it could have been, considering it’s a triple IPA and that it’s Saranac – not exactly known as a brewery known for threading any delicate needles. It’s quite juicy, and rich as IPAs go, with a dank bitterness, no malt character, and lots of orange-like juicy hop character.

This boozes up a bit as it warms, but cold, it’s surprisingly drinkable.

This was a weirdly nice surprise from a forgotten brewery on my end.
