Part of the 12 beers of winter variety pack
Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a New Belgium Globe Glass
The beer pours a light orange/golden/straw color and is slightly hazy with a big foamy white head that slowly recedes leaving behind an impressive amount of lacing.
The aroma is mild and somewhat one dimensional, mainly comprised of a generic piney hop profile.
The taste is mild and lacks complexity. There is just a hint of grainy malts and a clean piney/floral hop character. Medium/light bodied and moderately carbonated.
Overall the beer is not bad, but just seems uninspired

Pours a hazy golden color with a big fluffy egg-shell colored head that left a nice wall of lacing on the glass.
The aroma is of a minty hop with a subtle note of pine. Slight toasted bread from the malt. Aroma is subdued.
The taste is of a toasted malt, nice bready notes, some honey. Earthy hop notes, nothing in particular. Perhaps some pine.
Moderate mouthfeel. Starts sweet on the palate but finishes with an earthy IPA bitterness. Dry.
A solid IPA. Some old school east coast vibes. Fairly easy drinking.
